The project aimed to replicate and enhance successful ICT and BPO models from Albania and Bosnia & Herzegovina across Serbia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro. In Albania, the focus has been on empowering youth and women (ages 18-35) with essential digital skills for the global economy, driving employability and sustainable development. Key goals included promoting gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) and supporting better business services and a skilled workforce.
Key partnership:
SDA Academy: Developing a training center for Java Programming in Kukës, Albania.
Key achievements:
- Empowered future workforce with necessary technology skills for employability in the digital economy
- Increased employability rate in Kukës youngsters
- Raised awareness of labor market about JAVA trainee’s added value in this market
- Encouraged a sustainable youth collaborative network & practical oriented
- 15 young people with no prior technical background have been supported
